Post by: Mostafiz16 on October 14, 2019, 10:01:41 AM
I came to know from my colleague  that Kulekhara (Hygrophila Spinosa) leaf  increase hemoglobin. She, suffering low Hb but not for thalassemia,  takes kulekhara leaf juice and improve her Hb rapidly. She took Ayurveda medicine Kulerron   as well as leaf juice.

Anybody know about Kulekhara for thalassemia patient.

I haven't heard of it before, but it has showed positive results in raising Hb
Hematopoetic activity
Hematopoetic activity of H. spinosa was evaluated using cyclophosphamide-induced anemia in rats. Chloroform extract of the leaves at both 250 and 500 mg/kg doses significantly improves RBC and hemoglobin counts for 7 days and cyclophosphamide-induced bone marrow suppression after 21 days of treatment. It is also found that it increases bone marrow cellularity.
