my plan for each year is " lets see wat happen " i live on daily basis  when ever i woke up in morning i thanx to God that i m stillalive wow wata shiny new day thanx Allah (God) you gave me another day to learn from my mistakes and correct myself ...
Sometimes , God breaks our spirit to save our soul.
Sometimes , He breaks our heart to make us whole.
Sometimes , He sends us pain so we can be stronger.
Sometimes , He sends us failure so we can be humble.
Sometimes , He sends us illness so we can take better care of our selves.
Sometimes , He takes everything away from us so we can learn the value of everything we have.

about the operation...i was given anesthesia n my stomach was slit (6 inches)...which was stapled after the operation...it took long time for me to b shifted to my room from ICU...approx..10 hours
n it was painful for a few days...but healed up in abt a month's time....though that scar is still thr :biggrin...n thts normal :wink

Hi buddies ,
i also have the history of splenctomy , first jsut after the splenectomy surgeon prescrpted an injection of pencilin but after been treated with that injection for a few years my doc ( whom i m regular patient since last 2 and half years ) she turned me on pencillin tablets and after a few months she stopped tablets as well ... now i m not taking pencilllin in any form ... i dont know why ?? :grin ... oh yeah i have 32 stiches to my front right side ( little are abt 2-4 stiches ) to my front left side ( complete ) ... shuh .... well, who is going to have splenectomy's experience ?????... ok buddies

Best Regards
Take Care

Hi,

I was not only three when I had my spleen and galbladder taken out. My parents never told me that I have been given pencilin. I have had only those three vaccins.

What I do know is that the technique is much better than in 1989. When I get my port-a-cath and the wound get infected because they did something wrong with the stitches, they all said: Wow. what a big scar. Nowadays we do it much better.
a) it was not really nice
b) i got a 10cm spotted scar from the port op.

Whatever you decide: you will not have a scar of over 30 cm!

Question: Is there any person who had also a divorce with his/her galbladder???
