hi - new here - but I just sent my first post - then read yours.
I had 9 miscarriages between medically sustained pregnancies. I do believe thalassemia had alot to do with the miscarriages - would be interesting to read a study on it - if one has been done. No doctor has ever given me a direct answer on the possible cause of my miscarriages, when I have asked.

Actually i don't have a study but my doctor has once  told me that it is related. If i find any study about this i will let you know

I am sorry for your loss. I just want to share my family history with you. My Thal minor mom  had there miscarriages and had three children in her life.  I do not know if there is any connection between miscarriages and Thal minor trait but I would very much like to find out that.

Among these three, I am the only one who is also Thal  minor. Neither my brother or my sister  inherit this genetic trait.
