Hello,

I was diagnoised last year with Beta Thal Minor when I was pregnant with my first child.  Just this week my doctor asked me to start taking ferrous sulphate because my iron store was very low.  Do you recommend taking this supplement?  He wants me to take it twice a day and retest in 3 months.  I haven't really gotten much more information regarding this.  I have also complained of bone pain in my right hip area, fatigue, muscle pain and non of this he believes is related.  I feel very misguided.

Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
V
