Which blood values to test for?

Hello everyone,

are the values mentioned in this (<- click) topic's first post eveything my doctor has to check for in regards to Thalassemia? I'm really confused...

The values listed are used to diagnose thal minor and differentiate it from iron deficiency anemia.
