A Thalassaemia Major from India
« on: December 25, 2015, 05:10:57 AM »
Hello everyone
I am willing to study for 2 years in Australia. Preferably sydney or melbourne. I have contacted my doctors here and i am unable to find any thalassemic student studying over there . Though i heard of 2 who studied abroad and came back , one from USA and other from singapore. I am not able to find the proper relevent information
I get blood transfusion after every 21 days.
All i want to know is wether i would be given a student visa and is there any kind of insurance that minimises my expences over there?
If not what amount(roughly) do i have to spend on one transfusion if i take my medicines along with me

Thank you for your time
Regards Niyati
