Research Opportunity for US Patients

For US residents.
We are looking for a total of 24 patients to do a 1 hour web-assisted phone interview in the next 3-4 weeks. Additionally, there is a 30 minute homework to complete before the interview. The discussion will be about their journey from diagnosis to current day including their medications and relationship to healthcare professionals. As an incentive we are offering $195 to patients ($130 for the interview + $65 for the homework).

"...now looking to speak to caregivers of children diagnosed with Beta Thal as well. "
We are conducting telephone interviews with Patients and Carers/Parents of people living with Beta Thalassemia to learn more about your experiences and your journey from diagnosis and initial treatment to present day.

They are still trying to get a few more caregivers of children to participate. Specifically, they are looking for caregivers of thal intermedia patients who have transfused during the past 12 months.

One of the recent study opportunities did recruit minors, as well. I'm seeing more of these surveys, etc because of tax laws that are favorable to research of orphan diseases. I'll try to keep the group posted as requests are made.
