Help! My sister is in Pain

<< < (4/4)

kimi:
Thanks for your testimonials about your experiences. And thank you for lending "words that heal, not words that hurt"......I told my sister about this group a few weeks ago, but I knew she wouldn't join because of the different bad experiences she has had with doctors (and sadly) the varied responses she has had with other Thal patients. I will let my sister know that their are ppl out there who understand her struggle, and I'll continue to encourage her to join. I know that ppl are hear to help and I am hear to learn as much as I can. Take care and God Bless.

Andy Battaglia:
hey Sajid,

How old is your nephew? Asthma does often clear up after childhood so it can still happen. Mine was gone for at least 20 years before coming back as an adult. There are meds that can help prevent asthma in the first place so he may eventually be prescribed one or more of them if his asthma doesn't improve with age.

Hi Andy,

He's about 10; so I think it will take some time then :)
