Artificial blood found to raise risk of death

(1/1)

Canadian_Family:
Hello all,

I think if the artificial blood transfusion is successful and the side effects are quarantined, than it maybe a breakthrough for thalassemia as well. I read that artificial blood will not break like natural blood and present in the body for more than six months. The hempglobin based blood once transfused may remain for six months and a thal patient need not to go for another transfusion for six months, plus added advantage of no iron overload.
