Wanna be famous - URGENT ATTENTION
Thalassaemia Society of Victoria Inc. (TSV)  is seeking stars withing our thalassaemia community to appear on the front cover of our newsletter.............. stars, who like us, celebrated International Thalassaemia Day and have photos to prove it.

If you are interested in providing a photo to the Thalassaemia Society of Victoria, please do so by Tuesday 3rd of June 2008, with details of your name and contact. We would love to have you on our front cover!!

For those interested, we will of course send you a copy of the newsletter.

Hi,

I was there at our local Thal. Convention on Thal. Day; but I didn't take a picture of the Health Minister giving her speech as we see this lady blabbing far too much on the t.v already :raspberries

Hi once again,

Sorry If my post sounded somewhat confusing, but I will clarify.

We are currently putting together our newsletter and wanted to put together an article of how International Thalassaemia Day May 8th 2008 was celebrated in different parts of the world. So if anybody participated in anything either independently (i.e: with family and friends over dinner OR via society participation i.e: media release, donor thank you session or an information stall) why dont you put together a few words and post them on here, if you have photos to go along even better.

Once our newsletter is complete we will forward you a copy. We do thank you in advance for your efforts and we think its a great way of showing our community here how others celebrated such a beautiful day in different parts of the world and what it means for all.

But it's our little secret that should stay on Thalpal.com and not to be read by authorities especially our Health Minister :biggrin

Anyway, I'll try to contact the shutter bug who was taking the snaps of everyone (including me with my doctor) and our children's  performance.
