Good news

Hi friends,
I just wanted to share with all of you that my son was just awarded the top academic excellence award for his class as well as the entire school. Despite missing school every week, sometimes twice a week he has managed to get the best grades in his school, while also being one of the best athletes.
Of course this is because of all of your well wishes and prayers - and it is another achievement for all thalassemics. There is nothing that thalassemics can not do:) This is one of my proudest and happiest moments as a mother - watching my son receive his medals and trophies today - and having his name placed on a plaque in the school. Thank you all of the strength you give me.
I know you will all be proud of your little fellow thalassemic as well:) These victories are for all of us.
