nice friend:
HI buddies :
last time ,i forgot to mention onething , this is.
when i asked to my Dr about to take the Vit-C supllement durig chelation , first she told its OK you can then
she said : i think its not necessory as your ferritin is coming down without using this .. then she said : you may eat an Orange or drink lemo or orange juice ...
then suddenly she said, especialy try GUAVA ,tha can fullfill exact need of Vit-C dose, you can take( Guava can replace Vit-C suplement :think :dunno )...
i was a little disapointed  :o :think about this decision to not to give my Vit-C , after i reached back to home , i decided to search on internet  about rich Vit-C fruits and vegetables ....

Andy Battaglia:
Umair,

Since thals can't take a lot of vitamin C it is fairly easy to get the daily requirement through diet and in fact, a fruit like guava is loaded with vitamins and minerals, so it adds a lot that you don't get from taking only vitamin C. My only suggestion is that on days when you don't get adequate C from your diet, do take a supplement. Vitamin C moves quickly through the body and needs to be replenished regularly, ideally every 12 hours, so you always need to make sure you have a source on a daily basis. If you make a point of eating C rich foods daily, you may not need to supplement at all. It is also best to eat the C fruits as snacks in between meals so it doesn't add to iron absorption from your meals.

By the way Umair, your doctor has been giving you some very good advice lately, so do listen to her. She is very happy to see someone work so hard to improve his health.  :thumbsup

If you are getting the required amount of a particular vitamin from a fruit then it is better to stick with it instead of taking that vitamin in pill form; because you will get other vitamins and nutrients from that fruit too.
