Just wondering how Umair is doing and if anyone has heard from him

As far as I know, its allowed to donate blood. But transfusion while fasting is not allowed, since it gives us energy.

i think Donating blood while fasting isn't safe .. i m sharing the experience of one of my uncle who regularly donate blood .. once he came back after donating blood and then went to sleep and without taking Breakfast , when he woke-up he faint downed and that was really horrible experience for all of us at home bcoze of seeing him in condition of unconciousness ... He's well strong man and his Hb stay's always in normal range , the only thing , he is 40 years old and this happened 2-3 months bfore his 40th Birthday .... i do agree with you that people can donate blood while fasting and there's no restruction for it but on the other hand for donor's safety i think we should avoid this ... in my thal center they always call for donor after Iftaar ( when fasting time end's up ) .... plz correct me if i m guiding to wrong side ....
