Zinc deficiency and hair

<< < (2/4) > >>

Manal:
Hi

Zinc is very important to the body and is highly depleted by thal. Generally i check it's levels in my son's body every 3 months in addition to phosphrous and calcium.

Zinc is important because
1- It is a building block in the process of growth and lack of it leads to stunned growth
2- It is needed in the production of 350 enzyme made by the body

In Dubai airport i found in the pharmacy on shelf a syrup with a brand name Osteocare that had calcium, magnisium (ratio 2:1), zinc and vitamin D. This seems a good combination and easily administered by kids
