Please Pray for Chuck
Canadian_Family:
Chuck is a fighter. So glad he is recovering and doing fine.
Andy Battaglia:
It is with a very heavy heart that I announce that Chuck has passed on Friday, October 12 at the age of 60. The BMT had cured the lymphoma, but it did so much damage to his lungs and organs that he never fully recovered. The latest bout of pneumonia was too much for his body.
Chuck had returned to work a few hours a week for me. This is heartbreaking news, Prayers are requested for his wife and three children.
Pratik:
This is very sad to hear and a grief moment.
Rest in peace, chuck and may god give his family enough strength to survive this heavy loss.
I am feeling shame in asking or saying at this moment, but Andy, from what I know lymphoma is of lymph nodes, and I too have enlarged lymph nodes and recently I always have problem in nose in breathing, more like sneezing/cold. Should I be concerned? Can lymphoma happen to me?
-P.
Sharmin:
This is very heartbreaking Andy. It feels like we went through the entire experience with him and we all feel the loss. Sending prayers to his family and to you - as you have had to say good bye to so many people close to you recently.

Andy Battaglia:
Pratik,
Anyone can get lymphoma. My 18 year old neighbor just finished chemo for it and is doing well. I really wish Chuck had stayed with the traditional treatment, rather than allow an irresponsible doctor do the BMT so he could have a big pay day.
You can read about symptoms and testing for lymphoma at http://www.cancer.org/Cancer/Non-HodgkinLymphoma/DetailedGuide/non-hodgkin-lymphoma-diagnosis
It is best to talk to your doctor if you have concerns.
