Laura:
Hello everybody!!!

Thank you for all your responses and best wishes.

Peartree Girl ,

Thanks for the information, I think I'll have to go shopping  :wink.
My friend is studying in Enschede, she's studying to be a Teacher (I really don't know the name of the studies in English, in Spanish is Magisterio). For the moment she sais she is ok and everybody is treating her very well.
I'd like to meet Elmas but I think it would have to be a big coincidence since I'll be there for 3 days and we don't know each other.
Either way, I think I'll go again in May so maybe we can have a coffee in Apeldoorn or Hengelo.

Kisses,

Laura.

Hi Laura,

First of all: spent the time with your friend!
Second: Do not visit Apeldoorn. I did read today about the second robbery in daylight. Again there was a bag stolen of a woman. My mother knows the first and she has broken her shoulder at two places. The second had injuries as well.
Third: It is cold! Today I took the bike to the station and waiting for the international train to the airport. The first train went to Amsterdam and then I have to switch from train. This train went, the other train should come and they announced it had a delay of 45min (not any trains in the meanwhile). I went back home, because there is no place to stay warm and it was really cold. Last week I went three times to Adam and three times there were interruptions around Hengelo. Therefor buy something to drink and to eat, because you can never trust the Dutch railways. As for the international trains: you can take them with a normal ticket when you are travelling through NL.

So I suggest to bring your warm clothes with you. I think it will still rain a lot when you visit NL. If you dont have gloves (or you do not what to think about the weather) you can buy yourself here a pair. I will try to keep an eye on the news about the weather. I never do that, because it makes me feel depressed hahaha!

I dont think I ever have been in Henglo :idea Enschede is a good place to shop, I think. When I was there, there was no time to see of I was right.

I hope my information helps you a bit....

Bon voyage!

Dore

Apeldoorn is safe again. They arrested a guy. Off topic: edit
Take care and a tip for June: Bring Münster a vist. I love that German city. It is a very good place to shop!!!

Dore
p.s. I said June or was it May, because you may have more time then...

The weather:

Last night we drove from Rotterdam (west) to Apeldoorn (middle/east). The temperature went from 0 degree to -6 degree!
Rest of the week: The days are grey and drizzly. In the first days of the week is the temp. during the night above '0'. De rest of the days are colder. At this moment it is snowing, but the temp. is above '0'.

So it is gonna be depressing weather again: cold, grey and drizzly. My advice:  keep an eye at www.buienrader.nl

I wish you a really nice time in Hengelo despite the bad weather!!!!

Adíos, Dore
p.s. Tennis was really great. Too bad we had bad seats. My father has pretty bad eyes and could not read the score. So when there was sound he did not know why. I moved to the concrete stairs near his seat, because my seat was almost in the roof and such a melancholy place.
