Dore, probably the quick rise of ferritin is due to your illness cause i know that you didn't transfuse a lot since you reached the low levels.

As for the nose allergy i realy feel sorry for you and know exactly how awful it is cause my daughter suffers from it to :(

I am really sorry to hear that your dad is in pain :( sometimes i wonder how can doctors miss things like that  :dunno

And i think you should investigate a little why your hb goes down so fast,and please try to be regular with your supplements dear :hugfriend.

I dont know much about the Vit D conversion, maybe someone else on the boards maybe aware.

About antibiotics -  a lot of us have low immunity, and each time i feel REALLY awful, the first thing we suspect is some kind of infection in the body. If that is the case, antibiotics will turn me into superwoman overnight.  :smileblue
