Dr. Arthur Bank,

Welcome to our group!  Dr. Bank has contributed to the treatment of thalassemia for many years and in many ways.  His book "Turning Blood Red" has helped my husband and friends understand thalassemia much better.  Reading the book shows the emotional connection that Dr. Bank has to the actual patients.  For the past 11 years Dr. Bank has been a source of support for me personally, and I cannot thank him enough. 

I feel very privileged to have met you in New York Dr. Bank.  Welcome to our group - we look forward to reading your posts,
