TIF Sponsorship Program-Antalya 2011 Sponsorship Forms Attached

<< < (2/4) > >>

Ayesha:
Nur: yes, airline booking required.

It depend whether they will sponsor for accommodation or conference registration, if everything is according to criteria then they might cover both :) - that's what am being told -

Dori:
Yes Ayesha is right.

BUT I find it a mess! We weren't able to contact TIF yesterday. They sponsor up to 5 persons of an organisation. I have no idea how it works for individuals. I find it strange to hear that most of my Turkish friends will not have anything covered.

Keep posting about how it is going. Did you wrote their request form (names, birth, disease, motivation) too?

Dori

Andy Battaglia:
I will not be going. I certainly hope some of our members who are trying to go and should be assisted financially, will be able to go. However, when I see how little Ayesha's efforts to raise funds have been rewarded, I have to wonder about the give and take side of the world of thal. More and more, conferences are becoming a party for the privileged. Those who party are welcomed with open arms and sponsorship. Those who go to learn and to work? Not so much.

nice friend:
best ov luck to u all . . :) ...

Dori:
We are in and a part has a sponsorship - including me. I honestly would be glad with a bed anywhere cheap so that more people were able to come. I mean why do we sit in the most luxery hotels as there are people who have not acess to a proper treatments? (Im in Kremlin)
I am sorry to hear you are not going, Andy. I would have been happy to meet you in person.
As for the ones who are going; we must exchange numbers or have a meeting point somewhere at some time. I arrive at 11th May.
