Hemoglobin

is it unusual for someones hemoglobin to GO UP, when they are a thal major?(without transfusion)?
what would be the explanation?

Christine, My hemoglobin has gone up when I have gotten more dehydrated than normal, but that is unlikely in Lauren's case. Here's hoping she can put the transfusion off longer. Jean
