Why excellence center??

Hello,
I've been taking my child to the NYC excellence center for two years now. My problem is that they kind of don't know why I'm coming there since my child's regular doctor sees her back home. I feel lost as to why they don't know the importance and I need to explain. I am thinking of going to Boston Children's hospital instead. But I'm wondering if they will be lost as well as to why I'm coming there. What should I say?? Don't they already understand??
