Blood Transfusion Procedure in USA for Thalassemia Patient

Even my wife would be travelling to usa next month.please let me know where can i start to get the blood transfusion.I will be in new jersey and cooley anaemia foundation is 40 minutes drive. Can i visit the org and consult?
