High Altitude Mountain

Hello,

I have 7 year old Thal Major Doctor. We are planing to go on vacation on High altitude mountains of North east India. (Himalayan Range)

Can any one inform weather I can take my daughter with me and If yes what precaution needs to be taken.

It's safe but she might get out of breath more easily when you'e there due to the thinner air. If she was to stay for an extended time, her Hb would probably actually go up a bit, as the body compensates for the altitude.
 
Thals are safe at altitude, while sickle cell patients may not be.
