Thank you Andy!
Sharmin:
When I began posting on this site my son's transfusion requirement had suddenly increased, his fer was begining to rise and his doctor had started him on large doses of steroids. Thanks to Andy's advice - which our doctor agreed to follow our son is once again on his normal transfusion schedule - 4 weeks - with a small well timed dosage of steroid. His fer is decreasing because of the decreased transfusion requirement and the IP6, which was also recommended to us by Andy. Our son also looks healthier since we began following Andy's advice. Thank you thank you Andy from the bottom of my heart. You can't imagine what a difference you have made in our lives - especially addressing all of my desperate concerns.
I'm sure everyone on this site has been helped by you in many ways,
:flowers :flowers :flowers :flowers :flowers,

Andy Battaglia:
Thanks Sharmin. You really made my day. :biggrin It really helps me to know that I can help out. Lisa gave me a special trust and I try to do what I can to honor that trust.
I would like to mention that the advice to change the timing of when the steroid is administered was passed on to me by Miaki. Our group can be a powerful force when we work together. :wink
