I am sad to report that the father of Ayesha and Salman Mehmood, of Paksitan, passed away this week after suffering a head injury in a fall from his roof. He was 60 years old.
Ayesha and Salman are both long standing members of this group dating back to its MSN days. They are both majors and previously lost a brother to thal. They run a great thal site at http://www.thalassemia.com.pk/index.php
My condolences to them both and their mother.

I'm really sad to hear that as I know how it feels being a Thal and to lose your father. My world became upside down as my father was the only one who supported the family and managed my treatment.
All I can say to Ayesha and Salman is to have courage and be strong. Take good care of yourselves especially your mom. Be strong in front of your mom as you are the strength of the family now.
May God Almighty give your father a high rank in paradise.
