Does low number cause depression?

Anemia or low Hb is often associated with depression. My own experience says there is a connection. Folic acid deficiency can be a factor and can be corrected with supplements (minimum 1000 mg daily. Majors take as much as 10 grams daily).

Whoa buddy! :o Isn't that a bit too much?!?! I'm a Thal. Major; I take 5mg folic acid everyday. I think you got it mixed with ug (microgram)

Yup, sorry. 1-10 mg, not grams. I really need more sleep.
