We need to have awarness in the countries like US who have scientists and funds to cure thal (it is a fact that most effective cures had come from first world countries, either for high technologhy or politics or manipulation of pharmacutical companies, actually i don't care for reasons but it is a fact) I say this because the way the anchor was introducing the thal patient saying that she has a genetic disorder gave me the impression that she had never heard of the word '' THALASSEMIA'' :nope :sadno

:exactly I agree Manal ....... very few knows about the disorder and sad to say very few knows the do 's and dont's of the disorders....... and many are still confused to what is really thalassemia........ :wah
