Title: Relaxers
Post by: Sharmin on October 28, 2008, 03:39:06 PM
Andy,

What natural supplements would be good arterial relaxers?  Or inducers of relaxers such as NO?

Some helpful substances may be:

I believe that lycopene - found in the tiny bubbly sacs that surround seeds in tomatoes helps keep arteries elastic and prevent debris from sticking to arteries.

Supplements such as vitamin e helps by keeping the blood thinner.

This post states that watermelon acts as a relaxer.

I think it is worth talking about the benefits of citrulline - arginine - nitric oxide for thals again.

NO may be a lifesaver for thals and also preventative against pulmonary and heart related problems.
