Hello Friends,
So I did get a response from Mr. Ted Chudliegh, the MPP for the Halton Region, regarding the availability of Exjade to all the blood tansfusion dependent patients paid by the provincial exchequer. Please note, currently Desferal is available free of charge to all the patients but exjade has to be paid for. He has promised to talk to the health minister of Ontario and bring the point in the next house session. Lets hope for the best.

Canadian Family,
Thank you for this effort. Let me know if I can do anything to help - perhaps write a letter or get some support from Oakland.

Just to inform you guys, I got an email from the minister of health to take up this inquiry with 'Common Drug Review'; a provincial drug review body which decides the approval of drugs to be paid by the province. He is actually seeking answer from them.
I think its the beginning of another tennis match but we shall wait and see.
