Hello all,
I am a new member and really want some advice.
Does having Thal minor affect you through pregnancy or even stop you getting pregnant naturally.
Thank you x

Hello Sunayna,
I don't think thal minor would stop you from getting pregnant unless you have other issues regarding your reproductive health.
During pregnancy you might get anemic, but this happens with other normal non thal women too, just keep monitoring your hb so it won't go very low, sometimes women with thal minor may need one or two transfusions in pregnancy but not always,i have had two kids and i was never transfused.
Hope this helps :) .
Zaini.
