Title: Do we have cortisol issues?
Post by: kathysask on October 11, 2009, 01:27:49 AM
I was reading somewhere that people with minor have some sort of thing with cortisol?  Do we have excess cortisol, or something?  Does anyone know?  If it were true, it would make total sense because I carry all of my weight in my belly......  I'd like to be able to blame it on the thalassemia!

I got tested a couple of times for cortisol, but it didn't really come to a conclusion. What are your symptoms? I have awful pigmentation for which I was tested. My blood pressure is generally on the lower side.

Belly?  mmmm.....   :-) I'm underweight and have a flat tummy! :-) So I cant comment on that one! :-)
