Dearest friends,
I login to the site to check on you all. I have not posted much because in recent weeks my very dear aunt has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. She has been given days to live so my family and I are doing our part in keeping her comfortable in palliative care.
I hope that you are all well, take good care,
Love,
Sharmin

Sharmin,
my father died in 2008 of pancreas cancer. We didn't let him know till the end although he was a very smart guy and we had a notion that he surely was aware of the fact. A person going through this hard situation is protected by his/her own self and they may be smart but their own self protects them and gives them hope. It was tragic for us too, my mother and my brother.
Try to act normal. Nothing more nothing less.
Lena.

Best,

Thank you so much Charishma and Zaini,
It is my brother's mom-in-law who is sick. My sister-in-law, who is very very dear and close to me, is facing losing her mom. My brother's MIL is one of the sweetest people I have known and not having her around will leave a void in all of our hearts and our lives. Watching her suffer has taken a toll on all of us. I am praying for the strength and wisdom to help my sister in law and her family get through this.
Thank you all so much for your kind words and your advise, it helps more than you can imagine.

I'm sorry to hear about your aunt. I'm sure you will do your very best to be a support to her and her family and hope you can transmit pos. thoughts and hope. People in this situation a aware about what is happening. You only can be there listening to her, crying with her, laughing with her, praying with her.
God bless you and don't care to much about us. We will be here when you will be back.
