Title: Health Canada and Exjade
Post by: Canadian_Family on August 14, 2006, 11:31:40 PM
Health Canada is having a very important meeting on August 31, 2006 to decide the fate of Exjade in Canada. However, it has brought to my attention that the department of health is still not 100% convinced with the Exjade results. We don't know the nature of concerns but things should pan out by the end of August. KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED.

LOVE TO YOU ALL.

Hello Canadian_Family!

Good luck with the decision!  Is Health Canada the body that regulates the registration of medicines in Canada?

Cheerio,
SalD.

To reply your question, yes Health Canada has the authority to approve / disapprove the drug application.

I keep my fingers crossed for you !

Exjade is a "miracle" and my niece Sarah (5 years old) can have a normal life thanks to it.
