YEAH  MY BORTHER IS THL MAJ AND MY FATHER WANTS DO BMT FORM HIM . AND HE IS 19 YEARS OLD AND HE JUST LOOK NORMAL AND NO OVER IRON AND ALL IS NORMAL BUT THE PRB IS AGE I THINK . SO WE CAN DO BMT . YES OR ON I WANT THE ANSWER IN WTHIN 2 DAY S BUCSE AFTHER 2 DAYS WE ARE GOING TO CHICK UP .....?

The risk of failure increases with age, but he is not too old for BMT. If his iron load is low and there has been no organ damage from iron, he may be a good candidate for BMT.
