Title: Eye spots

Hi,

My daughter 2 and half years, has developed grey-black spots in the white portion of her eyes, few weeks back. She does not have any eye complaints. The eye doctor said retina and blood vessals are ok, and eye is fine. She said that it could be iron deposition.My daughter has not taken transfusion or chelation till now, only has folic acid.her Hb is around 8. We are waiting to see the hematologist.

If anybody has any ideas, please let me know.

I have those too, but i have no idea when i got them, or what causes them. I always assumed I may have poked myself in the eye when i was a kid.

Maybe you could check with another doctor.
