HI everyone
I made medical examinations and blood tests for my daughter whome at the age of 4 years and weighing 15 kg
and i'm worry about if that case show tha or not please anyone help me thank u very much

All the tests point to thalassemia intermedia. The Electrophoresis results that show HbA at 76.7% and HbF of 20.1% confirm this. A hemoglobin level of 8 should not require transfusions, but if it was to drop below 7 and stay there, transfusions would be necessary. It might be wise to consider hydroxyurea therapy if the Hb drops lower, before considering transfusion.
Good nutrition and supplements can help her maintain her Hb level. Establish good eating habits at this young age, as this will help her stay healthy.

My daughter does not seem any symptoms Thalassemia... is active and smart ... why explained, they suffer from Thalassemia medium .. and what is the danger of medium-Thalassemia Thanks
