Just wanted to say hi to everyone and introduce myself.

I came across this site and thought it is really helpful and comforting.

I'm 25years old and from the UK, I have beta Thalassaemia major. Although, I feel I am well in control of my condition I find it really beneficial talking to other people with the condition and exchanging experiences. I feel that each Thalassaemic is different and everyone goes through different things therefore its nice talking to someone who understands which is why I think this site is so helpful and important.

You are right about exchanging experience, this is how each of us benefit here. You will find tons of information and I am sure you will get to know more friends too.

Feel free to discuss whatever you want and I hope you enjoy the conference in Turkey
