Title: Vitamin E
Post by: Sharmin on August 24, 2011, 03:23:03 PM
Andy,

Little A is 32.5 kg - is 400IU of vitamin E a good dose for him?

Thank you kindly,

Sharmin

That's a good dose at his age. My observation of older thals using vitamin E is that it is probably far more important than we suspect. An adult dose of 400-1000 IU natural vitamin E daily is essential in my view. Its antioxidant properties have true value to the heart and circulatory system.

I decided to stop using all synthetic vitamins. Is there a natural Vit E product in the market (US/CAN)?

Thanks,

Burhan

You can easily find natural vitamin E. This is what I use. https://www.puritan.com/vitamin-e-024/natural-vitamin-e-400-iu-mixed-tocopherols-000460

Thanks, Andy.

I'm just back from a local store. A product named "Total E" by AOR is recommended. It includes 8 distinct Vit-E molecules.
Ingredients: Mixed Tocopherols, Tocotrienols, CoenzymQ10 as lipid-phase antioxidant.
