Hi everyone,
it's been a while I was reading your forum and
I finally decided to join you.
Just to introduce myself, my name is Roberto and I've got beta Thalassaemia.
I am patient at the Whittington Hospital in north London.
Hope to chat with you for long and share my personal experience.
Cheers,
Roberto.

Hi Roberto,
Is doctor Shah by chance your doctor? My parents met her at a conference in the Netherlands. I believe you are treated at a good hospital. How are you doing overal? Regular transfusions and what kind of chelation and vitamins?
Welcome on board!

Hi Dori,
thanks for your welcome! Yes, she is my doctor there and
yes the hospital is very good indeed.
I get blood every ~20 days and Exjade (1.75gr per die).
I also get 3 tablets of Adcal D3 per day (calcium + D3).
Everything is going alright.

Yes, along with Niamh, who is there most of the time.
