I am currently taking apple cider vinegar for its myriad of health benefits, however I recently came across something which bothered me. I read that ACV helps the body better "utilize" iron from foods due to acetic acid. I have Thal Major so this is a little concerning. I take 3 TBLS a day. However, I'm not even sure there is enough acetic acid to make a difference with the iron absorption. I am thinking this is just something people hype up to make the product more appealing. Any thoughts?

A simple solution is to take the ACV either between meals or with low iron meals.
