Thalassemia Patients and Friends

While in Oakland we learned from Dr. Vichinsky that it is very important for thalassemia patients who also have asthma, to always keep their thalassemia very very well managed. The two issues combined could lead to pulmonary hypertension.
I have many things I would like to share as well but I have been quite short on time since my return from Oakland as the kids and I have all returned to school.
