Hello All,

I need some urgent advice.

Can someone please advice if it is safe to use Plan-B emergency contraceptives for women who are thal minor ?

I should add that by 'safe', I meant if taking such emergency contraceptives can have any side effects for thal minor women ? I know about minor side effects like headache, nausea, etc. But any known serious side effects ?

I'm requesting an urgent reply - anyone who knows of problems.

If my wife does take it, she needs to take it pretty quickly or else the whole point is lost.

There is no specific warning concerning thal minor and Plan B. However, bleeding is a common side effect, so if the bleeding is extremely heavy, see a doctor to make sure your Hb level has not dropped drastically.
