Title: Supplements for Beta Thal Minor??
Post by: dennie on June 14, 2012, 04:12:41 PM
Hi everyone,

Im 35y.o and i wish to have a complete list of Vitamins and Supplements needed for my day to day functioning. My Hg ranges from 8-10. Right now here are the vitamins im currently taking and i just want to know if i need more.

Folic acid - 400 mcg (not sure about the mg)
Multi Vitamins with B-Complex (IRON FREE; Vit C only 250mg)
   Vitamin D3 - 1000 i.u. (is this enough?)
   Vitamin E - 400 i.u.

Do I still need to take the following?

L-Carnitine - if so, what's will be the dosage in mg
   Wheatgrass

Please if anyone can answer my query I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

With L-carnitine, Citruline and Arginine I take 500mg per first thing in the am. And I'm also using N.O Explode and protein powder before working out which also contains one or more of them.

Denni,

I would suggest upping the folic acid to 1-2 mg (1000-2000 mcg) daily. Wheatgrass tabs are probably the easiest way to take wheatgrass. It's a simple food product. so you can take whatever you like.
