CBC, SGPT & SGOT (creatine/kidney/liver tests). Also get her Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS - for diabetes) and HIV Aids get done every SIX months. Also do get Vitamin D report done at least once an year (for now as she's only 3 years old). This should suffice it, however, Andy may give you more advice. :)

Hearing and Vision Tests need to be done when starting Asunra or Desferal and one in a year thereafter.

Dear Andy Sir,
pls advise. My 3 yr old daughter - weight - 12 kg, currently as per doc's advise giving her 200mg per day of Asunra and folic acid syrup 2.5 ml twice a day.
AS per other member's advice will ask doc to increase the dose of asunra during her next BT.
pls advise what all other supplements and tests needed for her at this age.
Thanks

My daughter is 6 yrs old and we give her age appropriate multivitamin gummies and Vit D drops and try to make sure she eats a balanced diet. So far Oakland children's or Boston children's did not recommend anything additional. so, you can try these two for a start...

Rima,
Her Asunra dose should be higher. She should be on a dose about double what she is currently taking. I suggest 200 mg twice daily for a total of 400. It is quite advantageous to the glands and organs if the iron load is kept as low as possible. A ferritin of over 2000 needs to be lowered, and this is so important when children are growing, so that their hormones are less affected. Antioxidants like natural vitamin E are also important for protecting the glands.
