It is if deficient and the test is easy. I don't think true deficiency is common, except in some vegans. I take a B complex 100 daily. I feel it has enough of all the B vitamins. I do recommend a B complex, especially for non-transfusing thals, because the B's are essential for building red blood cells, and B vitamins are water soluble, so they need regular replenishing.

Dear Andy,

I,m giving my 18 months old baby 1.5 ml  B complex daily.Is it ok?

Yes the dose is fine. B Complex is needed and is water soluble, so the vitamins are quickly washed out of the body and need to be restored.
