Post by: Berlian on March 11, 2013, 01:00:41 PM
How to increase hemoglobin and hematocrit in patients with thalassemia minor? I'm male. My hemoglobin 13,7 and hematocrit 42 but I feel a mild anemia. Can I reach hb about 15 more and hct about 46 more? Thank you.

You should not be tired with your stats.  Has your thyroid levels been checked.  Hypothyroidism will cause fatigue.   My Hgb is 9.0 and Hct 27 this causes fatigue.  I was really tired when my thyroid levels are not corrected.   Hope you feel better soon.
