Title: Advice for testing

I am finally going to a hematologist to get tested.  I was diagnosed with Minor at age 12 (many moons ago).  I have never been tested but am always anemic.  Does anyone have any advise for me as to testing for this?

You want a complete blood count (CBC) and a hemoglobin electrophoresis test.
