Title: anyone have info on Bone Marrow Transplant with a perfect sibling match?

My 23 month old daughter, after not responding to the hydroxyurea is going to have a bone marrow transplant in August. Her 4 year old brother is a perfect match. I can not find any people who have been through this type of transplant ( meaning thalassemia and sibling match) and am looking for someone with experience or info?

This is allogeneic bone marrow transplant and my daughter (21 Months Old) went through this process in March 2013 and she is under recovery now a days. Few things to remember prior to transplant.

Selection of Transplant Center (Very Important)
Regular chelation therapy.
Pre transplant evaluation (Classification or Risk Factor)
