Hi everyone

I would like to hear your life stories with hydroxyurea.
Can u lead a normal life. Do your kids go to school.
Do they do all the normal activities that other kids.

My daughter started hydroxyurea today. We are hoping it works on her.
Her hb is 7.4 and she is 2 yrs 4 months.

Plz guide me to a life style with this situation. How are you managing

People... This is the strongest woman I know and she needs your help handle the situation life has presented to her. Please give us as much information as you can on pros and cons of the hydroxyurea treatment.

Asma, your child is an excellent candidate for hydroxyurea.

Please teach the child at a young age to eat well. She should follow a nutritious diet. Junk foods should be avoided. Fresh fruit and vegetables are very important.

Add Wheat grass tablets or juice with hydrea.
