Hi Andy,
My brother-in-law who is Thal-Minor started using Spirulina from last 2 months and found boost in his hb by 2 points. Initially his HB used to be 9.5 and now it is showing 11.5.
I searched in google and founf Spirulina contains iron.
Will very much appreciate your kind advice if we can use it for my son who is Thal-Intemedia.
Best regards

Reading nutritional information can be misleading, as the information is based on one cup. How much spirulina is being taken daily?

Hi Andy,
Thank you very much for a very quick response.
He has been taking 1000 mg Spirulina which contains 0.3 mg of Iron per day.
Once again thanking you very much.
With best regards

.3 mg iron is a very small amount. Almost any vegetable or meat will have more. You should have no concern about the iron content of spirulina. I would appreciate if you follow up later to let us know if the increase in Hb maintains.

I was taking Spirulina at a lower dosage(200mg) along with Wheatgrass(500mg) tablets for about two months, but did not see any increase in my Hb at my last visit.
